The South African Secular Society (SASS) is registered by the Department of Home Affairs (DHA) to designate Marriage Officers to solemnise marriages under the Civil Union Act, thus providing a secular avenue for non-religious South Africans to marry.
One of the services that SASS offers is a quarterly membership option for individuals who are getting married and have chosen a SASS qualified Marriage Officer to perform their wedding ceremony.
This membership option allows couples to become members of SASS for a period of three months, during which time they will have access to a range of benefits and services provided by the organisation. These benefits include assistance with the legal requirements for getting married, as well as access to resources and support related to wedding planning.

We wanted to remind you that your membership fees for SASS are non-refundable. By joining SASS you accept our Code of Conduct.
