Join SASS

Welcome to the South African Secular Society (SASS) recruitment page! We are a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting secularism and supporting the rights of non-believers in South Africa. Our mission is to create a society that is inclusive and respectful of all beliefs, where reason and evidence-based thinking are valued above superstition and dogma.

We rely on the support of our members and volunteers to achieve our mission. There are two ways that you can contribute to SASS: by becoming a paying member or an active volunteer.

Paying Members:

By joining SASS as a paying member, you become an integral part of our organisation. Your membership fees help us fund our operations and programs, and give us the financial stability we need to continue promoting secularism in South Africa.

We offer a range of services and support to our members, including educational resources, social events, and advocacy efforts to advance the interests of the non-religious community. You will also have the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals as we welcome all individuals who share our values and goals.

Active Volunteers:

Our volunteers are the heart and soul of our organisation. By giving your time and energy to SASS, you will help us promote secularism and support the rights of non-believers in South Africa.

We have a wide range of volunteer opportunities available, including event planning, social media management, fundraising, advocacy, and more. As an active volunteer, you will have the opportunity to develop new skills, meet new people, and make a meaningful impact in your community.

At SASS, we believe that everyone has a unique perspective to offer, and we welcome volunteers from all walks of life. Our volunteers are the backbone of our organization, and we rely on their skills and dedication to achieve our mission.

To get started, we encourage you to become a paying member of SASS. This will give you access to our community and allow you to learn more about our projects and initiatives. Additionally, we would be happy to arrange an online meeting with you so that you can get a better sense of what SASS is all about and how you can contribute.

Both paying members and active volunteers are crucial to our mission. Whether you choose to support us financially or with your time, your contribution will help us make a difference in South Africa.

If you are interested in becoming a paying member or an active volunteer, please visit our membership page to sign up or our volunteer page to learn more about our opportunities.

Thank you for considering joining SASS, and we look forward to working with you to promote secularism and support the rights of non-believers in South Africa.
