SASS Meetings
What happens at a SASS Meeting?
The Secular Society of South Africa are a group of like-minded people who meet regularly to further the mission of our NPO, and engage in meaningful dialogue pertinent to Secularism.
Our goal is to build a community where members can meet, mingle and get to know each other.
SASS regularly invites secular speakers to address our members on a range of topics with the aim of broadening our understanding across a range of relevant disciplines, secularism in the constitution, and how this affects South Africa as a whole.
Once a month, members and the ExCo of SASS convene a general meeting. General meetings ensure the running of SASS remains aligned to the vision and mission of the organisation, and that all members who hold a service position (or have assumed a lead on key projects) provide feedback to other members.
Only members may join SASS meetings: please click on the button below to join. As a member, you may also nominate your region, and host your own secular meetups.
